If you own the cheapest Galaxy A-Series Phone, i.e. The Samsung Galaxy A01, then there is a piece of good news for you. Samsung is pushing the stable Android 11 update for the Galaxy A01 that comes with One UI 3.0.
Yes! You heard it right. The Galaxy A01, which was launched back in 2019, is now receiving the Android 11 update. Notably, it came with an Android 10 One UI 2.0 update out of the box.
So, this Android 11 update will be the first major firmware update for the phone. This update also makes Galaxy A01’s grand entry to the Android 11 bandwagon.
Along with adding all the new features and goodies of Android 11 and Samsung’s One UI 3.0, the update also bumps the security patch level to the latest April 2021.
This is actually brilliant considering other manufacturers are still struggling to provide Android 11 updates to its devices, let alone the latest security patches.
